Guns Review – Heckler & Koch SLB 2000+ cal.308
Thursday February 13th, 2020
We, from Varna Hunting Team were really surprised from this semi-auto carabine of Heckler & Koch model SLB 2000+ in caliber .308 but not let us get distracted and focus on the pros and cons of the gun.
Pros:
– very,very easy to stock – in the moment you pick it up at any angle almost instantaneously the aiming sights align with your eye;
– the best balanced semi-auto groved barrel gun we’ve encountered up to now;
– smoth trigger with sensible soft move;
– bolt selflocking in rear position after the last round is fired and nice release button after the new cartridge is inserted;
– lower positioned gas piston, whick according to us should improve the safety in case of multiple shots are fired;
– recknagel base for fast scope mounting;
– available in different calibers – .308, .30-06, 9.3×62.
Cons:
– noisy work of the safety and the locking mechanisms of the cartridge;
– not an exquisute outfit – at first glance the weapon seems strange, even cheaply done, which it is not.
Conclusion: if you are about to purchase a new carabine, you better include it in your list and find the opportunity to try it.
